Downtown Chicago Couples Photoshoot

Lucia and Vicente have been dating since they met each other in college! Its obvious these two have been together for a long time as they are so comfortable around each other. We took their couples photos in Chicago, IL in the downtown area! We really wanted to have a whimsical feel and play around with movement a lot for their shoot. We started at the Wrigley Building where they were wearing their formal and classy attire. Lucia and Vicente tried to convince me they were awkward in front of the camera but they were absolute naturals!

Downtown Chicago Romantic Photoshoot

Chicago has one of the most iconic downtown areas, so that's where we met up for their couples photos. They layered up and put on a more casual outfit while we were still downtown at the Chicago River for the photos. We focused on getting traditional romantic shots and then had some more playful moments as they ran around revolving doors.

The second half of their session was at the Chicago Board of Trade Building. They were brave and got in the middle of the road for some epic shots in the concrete jungle! These were some of my favorite shots of the whole session because of how much their personality really starts to shine through.

As a Chicago Wedding Photographer I always love shooting downtown. There is something so classy and timeless about the city that I never get tired of. But it is always a huge plus to have a couple this cute and dressed to the nines!

Chicago Engagement Photographer

As a Chicago Wedding Photographer I think waiting for your engagement photos or wedding photos to get pictures with your partner is a mistake. I think documenting the early years when it is just the two of you dating is so special. Lucia and Vicente are just dating but now have photos of what their love looks like right now to look back on. When you're old and gray looking back at photos from the first few years you fell in love will always be special.
